Rwanda Media Commission (RMC) in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and with support by the Government of Sweden, are pleased to inform the general public and the media fraternity in particular, that Rwanda will for the first time be joining the rest of the world to celebrate the World Radio Day. The 36th session of the General Conference of UNESCO opened at the HQ in Paris on Tuesday, 25 October 2011 at 10 a.m. It will conclude its work on Thursday, 10 November 2011.
